Initial Visit

Your initial visit with Dr. Herre will be a detailed, comprehensive examination, including:

• Overview of your health history
• Diet assessment
• Oral cancer screening
• Images of teeth, where appropriate
• Periodontal evaluation
• Occlusal examination to determine the health of your bite

Periodic Preventive Visits

Visiting our office at your recommended maintenance interval gives you the chance to ask your hygienist and Dr. Herre any questions you may have about your oral health.

Your periodic preventive exam and cleaning will take approximately one hour. During this time, your teeth will be thoroughly cleaned and polished, an oral cancer exam will be completed, your periodontal health will be assessed and any necessary radiographs taken.

We offer early morning appointments, as well as lunch-hour appointments to accommodate your busy schedule.

Scheduling Policy

We personally reserve time for each scheduled patient in our office, and we try very hard not to keep you waiting. We respect your time and would ask that you respect ours, as well. Therefore, we do not allow repeated cancelations or frequent short-notice changes.
